Hymns for Today

Maybe you're already familiar with the hymns of Keith Getty, often co-written by his wife Kristyn or by Stuart Townsend. If not, click here. The hymns are contemporary, deeply Biblical, and very singable.

Surprisingly, some seem appropriate for both contemporary-worship churches and traditional churches.

If you're blessed by the music in your own church this Easter, don't forget to thank the Lord and to pray for the musicians.

Thanks for the tip and link, Jim. Do you recommend their "In Christ Alone" album? I've been very taken lately with albums from songwriters and sung by spouses - have you heard the music of Billy and Cindy Foote?

I'll confess that I don't have any of their albums; we sing at least one of their songs almost every Sunday. But yes, I'd recommend that album from the clips I've heard. I love most of the songs on it.

I'm not familiar with Billy and Cindy Foote, but will check out their music.

I especially love "In Christ Alone", and "How Deep the Father's Love For Us". We use both in both our contemporary and traditional services.
