Beautiful Mistake

This photo came out better than I expected. I think my cell phone's lens was dirty!

It's wonderful how the Lord can take even our mistakes and use them for his glory.

Absolutely beautiful. God put so much beauty into something He Himself calls very temporary: Psalm 90 & Jesus's words about the flowers of the field (Luke 6, etc.). And how much more He cares for us!

Oh, yeah. I forgot. My brilliant brother Steve, who now considers himself an atheist, does nature beautiful nature photography. He has all the great cameras & lenses---he's a journalist & photojournalist. (When he became sober, he rejected God instead of the more common opposite reaction of a conversion experience with sobriety. But, then again, he experienced some horrific actions at the hands of some Christians, who no less wanted to be considered "Christian leaders", and their so-called apologies were more excuses than humble apologies. We have open lines of communication & I pray for him lots & he visits a lot & is a wonderful uncles to my children. I really want him to be in heaven...

Marie, I'm really sorry about Steve's path so far. May the Lord open his eyes, if it may be. One of my brothers is somewhere between Christianity and Buddhism. He's intellectually brilliant. I love him and pray for him.

Yeah, it's hard to see our talented, brilliant and much-beloved brothers "hanging in the balance." I'll pray for your bro, too!!!

BTW, your newer poem is nice. I've been a little unusual in that I've embraced "death" & "eternity" since my college years (right after reconversion from agnosticism myself).
