Paradoxology

From Blog09

Our Father is older than we are...
    Full of wisdom
    Full of authority
    Full of maturity.

Our Father is younger than we are...
    Full of joy
    Full of energy
    Full of creativity.

Our Father is beyond time...
    Never older
    Never younger
    Never different.

Our Father is in our time...
    Calling to us
    Saving us
    Growing us.

All praise to our
    old,
        young,
    timeless,
        timely
God.

"As I kept watching, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took His seat. His clothing was white like snow, and the hair of His head like whitest wool. His throne was flaming fire; its wheels were blazing fire.
A river of fire was flowing, coming out from His presence. Thousands upon thousands served Him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him."

--Daniel 7:9-10a, HCSB

Thank you, Romanós, Amber and James. May the Lord be praised, not me.
