All Your Life

From Blog09

Praise the Savior in your youth
While you have the chance.
Celebrate his grace and truth.
Clap! Rejoice and dance!

Serve the Savior when you're grown,
While you're working strong.
Work to make his glory known--
Work! It won't be long.

Trust the Savior when you're old
While you still are here.
Then, when flesh lies dead and cold,
Life will still appear.

Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth...

--Ecclesiastes 12:1

Young men and maidens together, old men and children!
Let them praise the name of the LORD...

--Psalm 148:13-14

Sacrifice of Praise

Jer 33:11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.

Heb 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

When things are going wrong or we feel oppressed or battleing a temptation or going through a test, often it is because there is opposition in the Spiritual realms. It is good then for us to pause and start counting our blessings - small and big, mundane and special and then start thanking God for that. Soon we see that we are praising God.
All praise belongs to God and no one can stop it. And so our praises go up through the heavens, rendering the second heaven into the third heaven, the very presence of God.
It is like how all the blocking traffice jam clears out, moves aside for an ambulance.
Once the path is cleared, we have access by the blood of the Lamb, to ask Our Father for the grace we need for our specific need.

As the song goes ...
Praise is the power of Heaven,
Praise is the power of Heaven,
Praise is the Power that opens the door to the King, the King of Kings
The powers of darkness shall flee,
as we praise and magnify Thee,
Praise is the Power that opens the door to the King, the King of Kings.

Rev 5:11-14 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Thank you, my brother. All praise is to go to God, not to us.

Saw your comment on Romanos blog. Leaving the comment here because, I did not want to use that as a chat page :-)

Thank you for your generous option. Though not immediately, I will keep it for a later date. Thank you dear brother both for your generosity and concern.

I agree with you that Dake may not be doctrinally fully correct. I took it more for all its references and chain references and additional informations. And the post I was just mentioning the comments on the apocrypha.

thanks again.

Thank you, brother, for your message. Good cross-references are very, very useful. I'm glad you're aware of the troubles with other aspects of that edition.
