When My Flower Fixed Her Hair

You should have been there...
First she cut and dyed;
Then she washed and dried.
Then she gelled and combed
'Til not one hair roamed.
Step by step--she knew--
Her great beauty grew.
Oh, if you'd been there
When she fixed her hair!

Consider the lilies, how they grow:
they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you,
even Solomon in all his glory
was not arrayed like one of these.
--Luke 12:27

This is truly a lovely, lilting poem. I don't know what else to say but, thank you.
