The Boy On the Bridge

From Blog11

He was resting on the bridge,
Watching boats go by,
Watching some birds fly.

He was sitting on the bridge,
Free, without a care,
Simply resting there.

Then I smiled and waved hello--
Just a little wave,
That was all I gave,

And he smiled and waved hello.
Such a gift he gave
With that happy wave!

So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
--Matthew 7:12

A corollary to the scripture is that we approve others treating us the way we have treated them. Seems like everybody wants us to treat them the way we want to be treated but dont want to be treated the way we've treated them.

Neat poem.
