Garaged

Wicker baskets,
Rubber gaskets,
Auto waxes,
Last year's taxes,
Extra flooring
(Worth the storing?),
Plastic tubing,
Grease for lubing,
Garden shoes,
Lots of screws,
Air compressor,
One old dresser.

Life's detritus
Come to meet us.

And the world is passing away along with its desires,
but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

Boy what a lot of the worlds junk we hold on to, both physical and emotional. You'd think our future depended on saving the past. Life isn't dependent on the things we have, because we have eternal life. We didn't have all that stuff when we were born, and we don't have to have it to survive now.
