I Run to Christ

From Blog12

I run to Christ so I won't sin.
He's my strength, my power.
If I sin, I run to Christ,
Savior for such hours.

He's my safety, my defense,
All I'll ever need.
He will be my recompense
When in heav'n I'm freed.

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

(1 John 2:1-2 ESV)

Poem written July, 2012, at Redeemer Fellowship Church, Watertown, Massachusetts, for God's glory.
