Walkin' On the Waves

Image from http://www.wallpaperstop.biz/wallpaper/sea-waves.html

Walkin’, walkin’, walkin on the waves.
    Who is this I see?
Walkin’, walkin’, walkin’ on the waves—

Is it a ghost I see?
Walkin’, walkin’, walkin’—Jesus says,
    Fear not. See, it’s me

Walkin’, walkin’, walkin’ on the waves—
    Peter, come to me.
Walkin’, walkin’, walkin’ on the waves—
    Peter’s walkin’ too.
Walkin’, walkin’, walkin’ on the waves—
    ‘Til he looks away.

Sinkin’, sinkin’, sinkin’ in the waves—
    Peter’s sinkin' down.
Save me! Save me! Save me, Lord. These waves!
    Jesus grabbed his hand.
Walkin’, walkin’, walkin’ on the waves
    Held by Jesus’ hand.

Around three in the morning, He came toward them walking on the sea. When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified. "It's a ghost!" they said, and cried out in fear. Immediately Jesus spoke to them. "Have courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."  (Matthew 14:25-27 HCSB)
