Ordinary

Ordinary jars
Made of ordinary clay
Bear the Lord's own message
On this ordinary day.

Ordinary people
Hear the mighty, holy word,
And the Lord transforms them
On this ordinary day.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay,
to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

(2 Corinthians 4:7 ESV)

As Paul pointed out in I Corinthians, God has chosen to use the ordinary to accomplish his purpose, rather than the extraordinary so that our faith would be in Him rather than in human speakers adn leaders..
